Alex brings his trio to Orange for their debut. The trio also features the talents of Daniella Fischetti (Pyrenesia) on fiddle and Robbie Sko (Hot4Robot) on keys, who augment Alex’s songwriting with hauntingly beautiful and textured soundscapes. Robbie is a dynamic musician and music producer, adept in a wide array of instruments and genres from funk house to cinematic music. Daniella has performed at some of the area’s top venues and listening rooms, with acts ranging from gypsy jazz to bluegrass to rock. She studied at the Manhattan School of Music and is always on the lookout for new fiddle tunes to learn.

Singer/songwriter, Alex Radus, captivates audiences with engaging, intimate performances that showcase his unique and virtuosic brand of “genre whiplash”. Hailed as a “versatile crooner” (UMC Nashville) and “master guitarist” (Courier News), Alex pairs whimsical, poignant songwriting and soulful vocals across an eclectic, toe-tapping mix of Americana, folk, swing, blues and more. Legendary New Folk artist, John Gorka, calls Alex a “remarkable artist…an excellent songwriter and singer…worth going out of your way to hear”.

Alex’s recent tours have included stops at acclaimed festivals and listening rooms, including Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, where he was selected for the 2024 Grassy Hill Emerging Artist Showcase. During his early career, Alex was awarded a youth scholarship to Augusta Heritage, a center for the preservation of traditional American styles of music. There he was first exposed to and learned from some of the nation’s best finger-pickers, including John Cephas, Pat Donohue, Mary Flower and Eddie Pennington, who helped influence his unique finger style and respect for traditional music. His most recent release, Tributaries, was recorded live at the legendary listening room, Godfrey Daniels.
