Gwendolyn Wolski

Gwendolyn Wolski studied Music Business and Data Science at New York University. While she loves playing classical piano and pipe organ, her professional goals lay at the intersection of music, technology, and the arts—where data analysis, computer science, and creative strategy meet.

She began classical piano at age five, discovered the pipe organ at ten, and accepted her first professional church organ position at twelve. She enjoys accompanying choirs, playing in pit orchestras for musical theatre, and loves to “geek out” over music theory.

Gwendolyn is currently the Associate Director of the Yin Hoo Foundation for the Arts, where she is committed to expanding arts access, raising funds for artist-centered initiatives, and helping build programs that celebrate curiosity, craft, and the art of play.

Jonas Ballantyne

Stroudsburg High School student Jonas Ballantyne was recently named Best Jazz Soloist in the junior high category in DownBeat Magazine’s annual Student Music Awards. “It’s just a shock to flip through DownBeat Magazine and see Jonas Ballantyne.” The award puts Jonas in the ranks of top student musicians across the globe and alongside students from elite music schools such as Berklee and Juilliard.

“Now Stroudsburg is listed next to schools like Juilliard,” he said. Jonas’s father, jazz pianist and two-time Juno award winner Jon Ballantyne, said his son began playing jazz piano about three and a half years ago and quickly excelled. “He took to it really fast,” said Jon, “music runs deep in the family”. Jonas’s grandfather and great-grandfather were musicians. “Music is in his blood,” Jon said. Jonas has appeared at COTA Festival, Vics Jazz Loft, Lafayette Bar, Deer Head Inn.
